In one of the homes, the original beams were sandblasted revealing a fresh feel and the original Saltillo floor became the anchor of the entire design concept. We found out a couple of months ago that The Interior Design Society will be traveling to Paris! Taking a deep dive on their itinerary they have a lot of fun and unique events planned out! They will be taking everyone to the Mobilier National Royal Furniture storage, where they restore and maintain many thousands of furnishings for decorating official palaces in France and abroad, and a visit to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. Then they will be heading to Maison et Objet where you will have access to all the shops there and will have your personal shopper to guide you through all the amazing booths. You will end your days in pairs at the Paris Flea Market where you will discover a bargain hunter's paradise at Paris' St-Ouen flea market, one of the largest of its kind in the world. At the start of the week I was anxious, excited, and blown away all at the same time. I come from the small town of Richfield, Utah with the population of about 7,000 people. So walking into The Las Vegas World Market Center you can bet my jaw was on the floor. The buildings were massive with vendors filling every room in all three buildings. Yes, let me say that again.. Not one, not two, but THREE buildings.
