Solitude: the quality or state of being alone or remote from society, while social interactions are crucial to certain areas of brain activity, time alone is necessary for our brains to unwind and recharge. Constantly being “on” doesn’t give your brain a chance to rest and replenish itself. Being by yourself with no distractions gives you the chance to clear your mind, focus, and think more clearly. It’s your opportunity to revitalize your mind and body at the same time!

Journaling: is the practice of writing down your thoughts and feelings to understand them more clearly, it can also help you gain control of your emotions and improve your mental health. Journaling helps keep your brain in tip-top shape. Not only does it boost memory and comprehension, but it also increases working memory capacity, which may reflect improved cognitive processing in your day-to-day life!
