Gratitude

LOL

Now looking back in the rear view mirror…there are so many lessons I’ve learned this past year. The greatest thing I’ve taken away from the experiences I’ve had is how “Gratitude” is one of the single most important attributes to carry with you all day, every day. It’s easy to be thankful when good and exciting things happen, but what happens inside of us when challenges, obstacles or, what we perceive as, negative events, occur? We fold, we doubt, we fear. Some of us crawl into bed wondering how did this happen?

I’m not going to pretend my life has been all rainbows and unicorns. So let’s add personal challenges on to a year where the world presented its’ own set of challenges. Instead of focusing on “how did I get here” and “I can’t believe this happened”. We need to stop, be silent, allow our thoughts to focus on the everyday things that we are grateful for.

Gratitude aligns you with one of the highest vibrational frequencies. The higher the frequency of your energy or “vibration”, the lighter you feel in your physical, emotional and mental capacity. You experience personal power, clarity, peace, love and joy. I have truly experienced all of this during a trial that most would describe as one of the toughest that life can bring.

I’m grateful for my family and for small acts of kindness within my circle of friends and my community. I’m grateful to wake up every morning, to breathe fresh clean air, to have food on the table every day. I’m grateful for our Heavenly Father, for guidance, for the miracles and answers to prayer that come from Angels that surround us. And I don’t mean the ones we see in paintings with wings. I mean the people that are meant to come into our lives for us to serve and the ones that come into our lives to help us, support us and lift us up.
